As a mother of five living in America, balancing family life and cooking traditional meals became a challenge. I cherished the art of preparing these dishes but found it increasingly difficult to dedicate hours to the kitchen. Yet, I wanted my children to experience the rich flavours of home and connect with their heritage through food.

In 2022, a moment with my youngest son changed everything. A picky eater, he refused to eat a meal I had spent hours preparing, saying, “African foods take too long to make.” He wasn’t wrong. That realization sparked the birth of Adom Company.

Determined to simplify African cooking, I set out to create meals that are quicker and easier to prepare without sacrificing flavor or authenticity. After countless trials and taste tests, our first ready-to-cook meal launched — and with it, a mission to bring the joy of African cuisine to busy families, students, and professionals.

At Adom Company, every product reflects my Nigerian-Ghanaian heritage and commitment to preserving tradition while embracing modern life. Our signature jollof rice, ready in just 15 minutes, captures the authentic taste of home without the time-consuming process.
